Hyderabad: The Chenetha Lakshmi scheme has been made available online to increase the sales of Chenetha, Tesco officials said. Joining Chenetha Lakshmi will not only help the families of Chenethaworkers but will also encourage the consumers. However, under the current system, Tesco has to go to the showrooms and subscribe. The scheme is also getting good response online as it facilitates joining the scheme. Online membership is available through the Tesco website TSCO.CO.IN, tsco.co.in/chenetalakshmischeme. Online membership is also made available online in addition to monthly membership payments. Officials have taken action on the orders of Minister KTR to modernize the website.

Tesco officials said the purchases of Rs.48.48 lakh were made from December 26 to 31. Most of the purchases were made in the city of Hyderabad at Rs.33.63 lakh. 4.23 lakhs in the Karimnagar district and Rs. 7.53 lakhs, while the Sirisilla district had purchases of Rs.72,000.
